Magnus Wallinder was only ten years old when he had his first taste of motorsport. His cousin had a go-cart and Magnus was obsessed by it from the beginning. Today, some twenty years later, Magnus has reached one of his main goals - to compete professionally in a highly rated championship.
Magnus entered sportscar racing in 1997 with G-Force Motorsport. He participated in different championships in Europe with a Porsche GT2 and later that year with a Porsche GT1. After many seasons running his own team, his level of experience is very high. Driving for a professional team he has now been able to focus on the main objective.
Magnus also have experience from a 24 hour race at the 23 km long circuit of Nurburgring in Germany.

Formula GM-Lotus
Formula GM-Lotus is a one-make-class with a chassie build by Reynard and a GM engine package (2,0 litre 16v). Magnus ended up at sixth place overall in the European Championship in 1989. He also participated in the national championship with great success.
1989 6th in the European Championship
1991 1st in the Scandinavian GM Lotus Challenge. Four wins.
1992 1st in the Scandinavian GM Lotus Challenge. Three wins, five second places.
Formula 3
Formula 3 is an international category of single seaters. Magnus participatedin the national championship and was rewarded international starts in Macau (HongKong) and Japan.
1993 1st in the Swedish Championship. Two wins, two second places.
1993 1st in the Nordic Championship. Two wins, one second place.
1994 1st in the Nordic Championship. Seven wins, three second places.
Porsche Cup
Porsche Cup is a national category with a regulation based on the weight of the car and the power of the engine. That is, you can participate with the Porsche of your choice. Magnus drove a four year old 911.
1995 3rd in the Swedish Championship. One win, two pole positions.
Renault Spider Trophy
The Renault Spider is a one-make-class and it runs as a support race to seven Formula 1 GP in Europe. The price money is substantial. Some of the best drivers from Formula 3, Formula 3000 and some Formula 1 test drivers host the races.
1996 5th in the Renault Spider Trophy. Two pole positions.
1997 5th in the Renault Spider Trophy. Did not enter three of the races.
FIA GT Championship
This is professional world wide GT-racing with extreme cars. Magnus has been driving a Porsche 911 GT2 and a Porsche 911 GT1 in the brittish team G-Force/Strandell. He teamed with John Greasley and Geoff Lister. They were among the top four in the world in the GT2-category. In the last four FIA GT races they entered the fastest class with the Porsche 911 GT1.

1st in Marlboro GT Endurance in China, 911 GT1.
2nd in FFSA GTR, Dijon i France, 911 GT2.
4th in the FIA GT Endurance, Spa, Francorchamps, 911 GT2.
British GT Championship:
This championship was together with the ALMS the only series to host supercars like Porsche GT1 and McLaren GTR F1.
1998 Magnus was partnered by John Greasley in the Blue Coral/ Slick 50 Porsche GT1 and 1999 Geoff Lister signed up as team- mate.
A thrilling 1999 season saw Magnus take four pole positions, two wins and eight second places.
